Write Right Advanced Placement Summer Course

High school AP studentsMilwaukee Public Schools is offering a summer course, "Write Right: Composing Success in Advanced Placement" for high school students. Successful completion of this course will earn students a 0.5 elective credit toward high school graduation.

Write Right will take students on an introductory journey that explores the power of writing and builds composition skills. This course is for students who are going to take an AP English course at their high school.

The course features 15 face-to-face sessions plus 18 hours of online coursework and runs June 27 - July 21.

To enroll, fill out the application and return it to your high school AP Coordinator. Or mail it to: Advanced Academic Studies, 5225 W. Vliet St., Room 253, Milwaukee, WI 53208.

M•Cards will be provided for students who need transportation.
