International Newcomer Center—Middle School

International Newcomer Center

Milwaukee Public Schools offers a newcomer program designed for recent arrivals who are learning English along with grade-level subjects. Classes feature intensive support that helps students develop English language skills and grow in cultural awareness.

The International Newcomer Center—Middle School is located in the Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language. After two years, students either continue their education at Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language or make a smooth transition to a school of their choice.
