What is the MATC Promise for New High School Graduates?

The MATC Promise was the first program of its kind in Wisconsin, providing free tuition for eligible students. The MATC Promise is helping to make college an option for students who never thought it was possible. This public/private “last dollar” partnership covers tuition and fees for program courses, after other grants and scholarships are applied, for up to 75 credits. Students may be responsible for other fees and for the cost of books.*

MATC Promise for Adults

Are you 24 years old or older and live in the MATC district? Do you have an annual family income of $56,000 or less? Have you earned at least six college credits but have not earned an associate or bachelor’s degree? Then you qualify for the MATC Promise for Adults. Apply today!
