The City Review

MPS Athletics invites you to celebrate our student-athletes at the seventh edition of The City Review, featuring 10 of Milwaukee's top boys and girls high school basketball teams!

Join us Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at Marquette University's Al McGuire Center as we support some of our finest City Conference student-athletes and pay tribute to Milwaukee Public Schools' special honorees.


Participating in The City Review is one of the highlights of the season for everyone involved - student-athletes, coaches, parents, referees, fans, and sponsors. We hope you can join us for this special showcase!

Doors Open: 10 a.m.

  • 11 a.m. (Girls) Reagan Huskies vs. Bradley Tech Trojans
  • 12:45 p.m. (Boys) Vincent Vikings vs. Bay View Redcats
  • 2:15 p.m. (Girls) MSL Hawks vs. Rufus King Generals
  • 5 p.m. (Boys) Washington Purgolders vs. Riverside Tigers
  • 6:30 p.m. (Boys) Rufus King Generals vs. Hamilton Wildcats

Tickets are general admission for the full event. Doors at the Al McGuire Center for The City Review will open at 10 a.m.

Ticket Information

Each ticket may only be scanned one time. There are no refunds or exchanges. Ticket purchasers are able to transfer event tickets to other spectators through the HomeTown ticketing system prior to entering the event. If you leave the arena, you will have to purchase another ticket to reenter.

COVID-19 safety measures will be in place. All spectators are required to wear masks at the event. Ski masks, face shields, or scarves may not be worn in place of masks. Masks are required at all times except while eating and drinking in your seat. The arena capacity limit is set to 50 percent for this event.

No bags or backpacks allowed. Spectators are only permitted to carry the following - a purse (not to exceed 14"x18") and/or a diaper bag (must be accompanied by a child).

MPS Athletics requires appropriate fan behavior for all spectators. Positive spectator conduct is everyone's responsibility. Inappropriate conduct, comments, or actions will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the event.
