Meal Program Updates

The Department of Nutrition Services continues to support academic achievement by providing students with high quality, nutritious meals, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service and financial responsibility.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

The Department of Nutrition Services is looking forward to serving free breakfast and lunch to all MPS students. This school year we have changed our menu offerings to provide students with more options; all students will have more than one lunch entrée to choose from every day. We encourage all students to participate in our meal programs and try something new this year.

Summer 2023: Free Summer Meals for Kids are Provided During Summer Programs

This summer, save time and money by letting MPS prepare meals for your kids! Milwaukee Public Schools will sponsor the Summer Food Service Program at MPS locations that provide Milwaukee Recreation summer programming, which includes Summer Camps, CLC & Safe Places, Twilight Programs and select Boys and Girls Club locations. Meals will also be provided at the following MPS summer programs: Club Rec, Music Camp, ESY, and Summer School. Children from the community can also receive free meals at locations that participate in the Summer Food Service Program.

Please remember, when your child participates in the summer meal program, meals must be enjoyed at the program location. Meals can no longer be taken home due to federal regulations.
