Trades

mechanic at Pulaski Automotive working with studentMilwaukee Public Schools has hiring opportunities for trades. The hiring process for trades candidates is as follows:

  1. Trades people must pass a written test.
  2. Those candidates who pass the written test are invited in to take a practical test. The practical test allows the candidates to show the necessary on-the-job skills they possess
  3. Those who pass the practical and written tests are invited for an interview.

Candidates who pass a trades test are maintained on the hire list for future openings for a period of two-years.
