Dear Students and Families,
Thanksgiving is nearly here and a time to acknowledge others.
I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your hard work and commitment to education; it is important to the success of our children and community.
I hope you will take time over the long weekend to relax and enjoy time with your family and friends.
While schools are closed, please engage in activities that stimulate academic growth. Many fun activities can become educational—a game, cooking or baking, a movie, or completing a craft project. Encourage your child to read daily and use their math skills through activities such as board games.
When we return on November 27, we will have less than four weeks of school before the winter break! One of the best ways to guarantee a student’s success is to ensure that they are in class, on time, every single day. Please work with your child to encourage great attendance right up to the break so they can finish the year strong.
Wishing you a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving.
