11-01-21 Last Week for Open Enrollment!

Dear Colleagues:

Open Enrollment for health/vision, dental, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts and the Opt-Out plan is available on MPS Employee Self Service until November 5,2021 with changes effective January 1, 2022!

Important Reminders about your benefits:

• The FSA annual election does not automatically rollover from year to year. You must re-enroll via the online enrollment process through Employee Self Service for each new plan year (see instructions linked above).
• Enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA) through Employee Self Service (instructions linked above) and receive the employer contribution for 2022 - $400 for a single HDHP or $800 for a family HDHP enrollment.
• Already enrolled in an MPS HSA? Your annual contribution election does not automatically rollover into the next year. You can submit your change for the following year through Employee Self Service during Open Enrollment.
• Enrolled in the health plan Opt-Out option? Reminder that Opt-Out payments will not automatically rollover from year to year. You must complete the “Payment in Lieu of Health Coverage” form and submit annual verification of other coverage - view the form.
• For those already enrolled in the Additional Life Insurance, during annual enrollment you may elect to increase your Additional Life Insurance by one $10,000 increment (not to exceed the Guaranteed Issue Amount). To increase your Employee Additional Life Insurance, log in directly to the Standard website at https://standard.benselect.com; use your six-digit employee ID as your username and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number plus the last two digits of your birth year as your PIN.
