October is "Keeping Kids Safe Online" Month

With students spending many hours online for virtual learning, keeping them safe is more important than ever. State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor has proclaimed October as "Keeping Kids Safe Online" Month in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Wisconsin Department of Justice are providing resources that focus on cyberbullying, mental health, appropriate social media use, and family supports for students.

Visit the DPI Internet and Online Safety page and the Parents/Guardians page to access resources. Families who have concerns about student Internet use can always feel free to talk to their child's teacher or parent coordinator.
