Important Calendar Changes
March 15, 2022: ACT Testing for Juniors
All MPS high school juniors will take the ACT test on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, during the school day. All juniors should arrive at school prepared to take the exam. All high school freshmen, sophomores, and seniors do not report to school. All students in grades K-8 will have a regular school day.
Why is the ACT test important? This test is required by some colleges and universities for admission. All students in Wisconsin take the exam each spring to assist in applying to college and qualifying for scholarships.
Tuesday, April 5, 2022: All Students Attend School
Because of the school closure due to weather in February, students will now attend school on Tuesday, April 5. This date had been previously scheduled as a student day off.
Monday, May 16, 2022: Important Changes
All high school students will attend school on Monday, May 16 (previously a student day off for early start schools).
All K-8 students attending Early Start schools will not attend school.
All students in schools on the Traditional Calendar will attend school as previously scheduled.

Summer Architecture/ Engineering Program at UWM -- Apply by March 31
NAF Future Ready Scholars will host a summer program at UWM in 2022. Current high school sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply!
Engineering track students will live on campus for a week at UWM learning about current trends in engineering and will design a solar power station.
Architecture track students will live on campus for a week and then commute an additional three weeks for an immersive experience in the tools and trends in architecture. Students will design a community pavilion.
Attend a student/family information night on March 22 or March 30 at 5:30 P.M.

College and Career Night - April 6
Middle and high school students and families should plan to attend College and Career NIght! Learn to explore career paths, find out about schools and programs, narrow down your interests, and more! This virtual event will be hosted on Zoom.

Students in grades K-12 are invited to enter the Cesar Chavez art, speech, and writing contests! Entry deadline is Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. This year's theme is Respect for All Living Things. Winners will be recognized during the Cesar Chavez Celebration on March 20, 2022, at 1:00 P.M.
