On Monday, January 18, 2021, we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who would be 92 years old this year. In observance of this federal holiday, MPS students do not have class on Monday. Students and families are encouraged to observe this important holiday by reading, watching a video together, listening to one of Dr. King's speeches, or discussing the Civil Rights Movement.
We are excited to have our students back, following the holiday break, and we hope our students, families, teachers, and staff had a chance to relax and reflect.
Most Milwaukee Public Schools high schools have first semester final exams scheduled through December 22, 2020. Students and families can take steps to improve success.
Please take our survey to offer input about your child’s virtual learning experience, along with your thoughts about returning to face-to-face learning.
