Throughout the COVID-19 public health emergency, MPS is committed to keeping our students, families, staff, and community informed through regular communications that include emails, social media posts, text messages, automated phone calls, and notifications to the MPS app. We are maintaining the COVID-19 Update web page in both English and Spanish to keep you informed.

06-17-20 GE Innovation Labs to be created in six MPS sites

MILWAUKEE (June 17, 2020) -- Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) and the GE Foundation announced Wednesday the creation of six digital fabrication labs to help inspire and prepare MPS students for a STEM-driven and innovative future. The GE Innovation Labs are the final phase of the GE Foundation grant to MPS in 2010 that will conclude during the 2020-21 school year.

MILWAUKEE (April 22, 2020) -- Following matching donations from Milwaukee Bucks NBA All-Star Khris Middleton and the Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Trust Fund, the Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation has now raised over $60,000 for its COVID-19 Relief Fund and Nutritional Support fund for MPS students and families throughout the district.
