District #8 -- Megan O'Halloran

Megan O'Halloran, District 8Megan O’Halloran, who was first elected to the Board in April 2019, is a lifelong resident of the Milwaukee area and has called Milwaukee’s south side home for over 15 years. She is a proud UWM Panther with Bachelors of Arts in history & Spanish and a Master’s in business administration. Megan has a background in financial compliance, contract analysis, and non-profit resource development. Guided by the statement of Pope Paul VI, “if you want peace, work for justice,” she is a member of a number of community groups, including Voces De La Frontera and SURJ-MKE (Showing Up for Racial Justice) and is proud to be second-generation AFSCME.

She and her husband, Corey, are the proud parents of two MPS students who attend Cooper Public School.
