Marva Herndon, who was first elected in April 2019, is a graduate of West Division High School (MHSA), has enjoyed a 25-year career as a computer programmer, and changed careers after retiring from Harley Davidson in 2009.

Erika Siemsen, who was first elected to the Board in April 2019, previously served the district as an elementary educator for over 30 years.
Darryl L. Jackson, who was first elected in April 2023, is a proud MPS graduate of Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School, graduated with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Sciences from Anthem College, and is a lifelong resident of the City of Milwaukee.
Dr. James Ferguson was elected to the Milwaukee Public Schools Board in November 2024. A graduate of Milwaukee High School of the Arts (MHSA), he majored in music and served as Senior Class President in 2005.
Christopher Fons was elected in April 2025. He is a retired educator with 24 years of service in MPS teaching Social Studies at Riverside High School and as a mentor/teacher in the First Nations Studies College Access Program.
Mimi Reza was elected in April 2025. Director Reza is a proud graduate of Milwaukee Public Schools and an alumna of Milwaukee High School of the Arts.
Dr. Kate Vannoy was elected in April 2025. Dr. Vannoy brings over 26 years of experience in education to her role as School Board Director.
Megan O’Halloran, who was first elected to the Board in April 2019, is a lifelong resident of the Milwaukee area and has called Milwaukee’s south side home for over 15 years.
Missy Zombor, who was first elected to the Board in April 2023, has spent most of her adult working career fighting for working families in Milwaukee and public education.
