Submitting a Concern to the Office of Board Governance

The Milwaukee Board of School Directors is concerned about District functions and is always open to hearing feedback from constituents. It is the policy of the Board to allow the Administration an opportunity to investigate and respond to concerns raised by constituents. When a concern is received, the Office of Board Governance will route it to all applicable chief administrators in order to coordinate a response.

Information Requests

Public Records Requests

The public policy in Wisconsin is to give the public the greatest amount of access to governmental records as possible. MPS responds to all requests for public records as soon as practicable and without delay.

  I am having trouble with the employment application. Who should I contact?

If you have questions regarding our online application or the hiring process, please contact the Department of Talent Management at 414-475-8224.

  Why can't I find staff resource documents?

This is the website for the public. You must log in to view staff resources by clicking "mConnect" from the staff drop down menu at the top of the screen. From there, you can search for staff resources.

  Where are the links to Infinite Campus, Staff Mail, etc.?

Quicklinks for staff can currently be found by hovering over the Employment tab OR clicking on "Staff" in the top menu.

  Where is the student toolbox?

The student toolbox can be found by clicking on the Students tab and then Student Toolbox - OR, hovering over the Students tab and then clicking on Student Toolbox under Tools.

  How do I find a map or directions to a school?

When you land on the school's detail page by searching on the Find a School page, scroll down and click on the blue bar that says Map & Directions and a Bing map will load.

  Where is Thursday Updates?

Thursday Updates is a staff resource and is not available on the public-facing website. Thursday Updates can currently be found by using the mConnect link at the top of the page and logging into mConnect. There is a link to Thursday Updates in the "Quick Links" box on the homepage.
