The Department of Financial Services performs the tasks of accounting including school accounting and bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, banking, cash and debt management, trust accounting, fixed asset reporting; and general related obligations; processes grant claims; reconciles the District’s accounting records; analyzes and presents District financial information for local, state and federal reporting; and prepares the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).
