The Adopt-a-School program is an exciting opportunity for your business, community or faith-based organization to partner with MPS! We invite partners to form a direct and personal relationship with a single school or multiple schools. Businesses and community organizations work with school leadership to improve outcomes by providing financial, volunteer and in-kind resources based on the resource needs of our students. Through these high-level relationships, partners commit to working with a school for an extended time to support learning and youth development.
Each Adopt-a-School partnership is unique and is tailored to match the specific opportunities that exist within a school community with the strengths and resources of adopting partners.

1. Complete a Partnership Interest Form
Click here to access the form. Check the box for the Adopt-a-School program. If you know of school(s) that you would like work with, indicate these in the areas for School Preference. Our team will be happy to assist you in selecting a school. Explore our Interactive Partnership Map or use our searchable database to find schools near you!
2. Meet with our team
Learn more about Adopt-a-School opportunities. A team member will meet with your business or organization to share a list of potential partner schools, volunteer and financial support tracks, and unique ways that your team can impact students in MPS.
3. Formalize the Partnership
After identifying a partnership with a selected school(s), sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) outlining the relationship and services that will be provided. The MOU is simply a way to formalize the relationship. After the MOU is signed, an MPS Partnership team member will meet with you to discuss next steps including the development of a Partnership Calendar of Activities.
