Kathleen Conway

Ms. Kathleen Conway was nominated by Laquanda Johnson, parent coordinator of Bethune Academy. "Ms. Conway isn't considered a volunteer to Bethune, she is family! She has been a faithful anchor in our building for over 10 years. Our students have the most respect and appreciation for her and the wisdom she she gives. Her love for children shows in her everday walk. Our students can count on Ms. Conway to be a listening ear. She is a natural nurturer when it comes to problem solving and caring for our students.

Ms. Conway is dedicated to completing the task at hand. I can not tell how many times I have personally witnessed her staying after her scheduled time to make sure handouts were ready for the next day or just to help out with the classroom setup with the lead teacher. Without complaints or hesitation, Ms. Conway always jumps in to assist families at our school events. She is a breathe of fresh air and we are truly lucky and honored to  nominate her for being the most valuable volunteer to students and staff here at Bethune Academy."
