About
Milwaukee French Immersion School (MFIS), recognized as a high-achieving school, provides English-speaking pupils with the opportunity to learn French in an environment where French is the primary language of instruction. MFIS has earned the "LabelFrancÉducation" status, a recognition that is granted through the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs that attests to the quality of our language program. Students in grades 2 and 4 take the DELF exam, the official French-language diploma for French as a foreign language. The school's grade 5 students have an opportunity to travel to Concordia Languages Villages in Bemidji, Minnesota, for a global francophone experience. Many of our students have an opportunity to use their knowledge of the French language to participate in a yearly French state competition in theater, music, and prose.
Families can enroll in this school using the online application at mpsmke.com/EnrollMPS.
