Two Direct Admit programs simplify college applications for MPS students

Does applying to college seem complicated? High school juniors attending any MPS school can apply MATC, UWM, and other UW colleges in less than five minutes at no cost! By applying now, students will begin their journey to start college in Fall 2025. Deadline is June 14, 2024! This application will not be available in your senior year.

MPS StudentMilwaukee Direct Admit is a streamlined application that connects a student’s MPS academic records directly to MATC or UWM. Fill out a simple form with your name and MPS student ID number. Direct Admit Wisconsin is an application to certain University of Wisconsin schools.

  • Choose which college to apply to—MATC, UWM, or UW schools
  • Application is free
  • No attachments or transcripts are needed
  • No essay or letters of recommendation!
  • Apply to multiple schools that interest you
  • Students must graduate from high school in spring or summer of their senior year

Milwaukee Direct Admit is the latest initiative to come out of the M3 (pronounced M-Cubed) partnership, a collaboration among Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM). This partnership works to transform the future of Milwaukee through education.
