Students invited to train as youth apprentices at Leonardo DRS

Apprentices wantedMPS juniors and seniors are invited to apply as youth apprentices! Selected students will train working with and assembling power systems at Leonardo DRS on Milwaukee’s north side. Leonardo DRS builds power systems for United States Navy submarines and will provide specialized training and mentors. Students in the program will be paid and may be eligible to be hired full time after completing high school.

Last school year, 12 youth apprentices successfully completed the apprenticeship program at Leonardo DRS. After graduation, five students went on to work full time at Leonardo DRS at a starting rate of $21 per hour.
