Sign up for the 12th annual Run Back to School!

Join us this summer for our 12th annual Run Back to School 5K run/1.5-mile walk!

Date: Aug. 24 at 9 a.m.

Price:

  • Student ticket (18 and under): $5
  • Adult ticket (19 and up): $20

Walk-ups on race day are permitted!

The event also includes a Mascot Race and post-race festivities, including carnival games, music, resource tables, and more! This run/walk is the perfect way to kick off the 2019-20 school year for the entire family. Proceeds from the RBTS help support MPS youth recreation programs.

And don't forget to rally your team for the MPS Run Back to School and apply for a grant for your school! School communities with at least 25 registered participants are eligible for a $500 grant to support a sport or wellness need in their school! The school with the most registered participants is eligible for a $1,000 grant to support a sport or wellness need in their school! Nominate a team captain for your school and start your team today!

(How to register a team: Go through the normal registration process using the above link, and when asked the question, “If participating with a school team, please list the school”, enter your school name. Teams and participants may also register in-person at the MPS Central Office or at the OASIS building from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
