Nominate an educator for Herb Kohl Educational Foundation awards

Herb Kohl Educational Foundation LogoHelp MPS recognize our outstanding teachers and school leaders! Students, families, and staff are invited to nominate a favorite teacher or principal for annual awards from the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation.

Nominations are open for Teacher Fellowships and Principal Leadership Awards. After being nominated, candidates will fill out an application for the chance to be honored in spring. Only 100 teachers and 17 principals are selected each year from across the state of Wisconsin.

Visit kohleducation.org then click on the Teacher Fellowship Program tab or Principal Leadership Award tab. In the nomination form, be sure to fill out all three tabs before submitting.

In 2023, 11 MPS teachers and one principal were honored through these annual awards. Read more about our honorees!

The deadline to submit nominations is October 13, 2023.
