Maple Tree School receives new coats for every student

Khris Middleton Coats for Kids at MapleTreeMilwaukee Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton, along with representatives from UnitedHealthcare, delivered excitement, energy, and new coats to Maple Tree School this week. Hundreds of students received new winter coats to keep them warm as they walk to school or wait at bus stops. The gift was made through Dreambuilders Foundation and was supported by a $17,000 grant from UnitedHealthcare.

"This donation means so much to our students and our families as we begin to navigate another winter season in Wisconsin," Maple Tree School Principal Chereese Morris said. "To have Khris Middleton in our school to personally distribute these winter items is something our students and staff will cherish. We are grateful for the generosity of UnitedHealthcare and Mr. Middleton."

Middleton is engaging in 12 Days of Khrismas this month to help children in Wisconsin and other locations in the United States. Students and staff at Maple Tree were excited to be part of his holiday plans.

On behalf of Milwaukee Public Schools and the students and staff at Maple Tree School, thank you, Khris Middleton and UnitedHealthcare!
