MPS will offer summer meals at schools, plus deliver to three ZIP codes

Milwaukee families will have two options this summer to receive free meals from Milwaukee Public Schools. Read below to find a program near you. All Milwaukee children age 18 and under are eligible. In addition, adults are also eligible for the meal delivery program.

School busMPS is taking meals on the road! This summer, to support Milwaukee families, MPS will deliver meal bundles with breakfast and lunch items to selected neighborhoods in July and August. If you live in the 53205, 53206, or 53233 ZIP codes, join the MPS Summer Meal Delivery Programregister by June 11, 2021, to receive meals! Deliveries will be made three times per week at MPS bus stops and some individual homes.

The number of families served in the program will be limited. Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Families who are selected will be notified and will receive details about meal delivery. Note that all adults and children in the selected ZIP codes are eligible to receive meals. Bus stop delivery locations can be viewed as part of the registration process. Sign up today!

Families who live outside the delivery regions can receive meals from the MPS Summer Food Service Program by picking up meals at specific MPS schools. Pre-orders are required. Meals can be picked up Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. beginning June 21, 2021. Pre-ordered meal bundles will contain a packaged breakfast and lunch for anyone age 18 and under. On Mondays and Wednesdays, meal bundles will include breakfast and lunch for two days. On Fridays, children will receive breakfast and lunch for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Place meal orders beginning June 7, 2021.
