MPS promotes Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage MonthFrom Cesar Chavez to Rita Moreno to Sonia Sotomayor, our history and culture are woven with contributions of Hispanic Americans. During Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 to October 15, MPS is promoting educational activities and sharing personal stories of Hispanics in the district.

In MPS schools, many projects and events are underway to help students embrace Hispanic culture and immerse in Hispanic experiences.

The district will post more photos and news about Hispanic Heritage Month later in October. For more information, family activities, videos, and reading lists, visit
