MPS high school enrollment closes Monday, Nov. 4, 2024

Time is running out to choose a high school! Eighth-grade students and families should learn about programs, select an MPS high school, and enroll for the 2025–26 school year. Enrollment closes Monday, November 4, 2024.

MPS Students Golda MeirWith nearly 30 high school options in the district, MPS has an ideal learning situation for every student’s needs and future career goals. Opportunities are available in career areas such as technology, engineering, arts, music, college prep, skilled trades, manufacturing, agriculture, culinary arts, hospitality and tourism, and more. Students in grade 8 should explore schools now and make their choices for this important transition.

To find a high school that best fits your needs, visit How to Select a School on the district website and select by location or program. To access the online enrollment form, visit the High School Enrollment page. Enrolling now offers your best opportunity for a chance at your first-choice school—some schools fill up quickly!

All students will apply through a short online form. Families new to MPS will need to provide the student’s 7th grade report card, 7th grade attendance record, and standardized test scores. Students will also be required to submit an essay in response to a reading selection. Current MPS 8th-graders will complete this requirement in school during the month of October; current MPS 8th-graders do not need to upload forms in the application.
