MPS celebrates Graduation Week

Milwaukee Public Schools congratulations graduates graphicCongratulations, MPS graduates! This week marks the release of video graduation ceremonies for all MPS high schools. Graduates can enjoy remarks by their school’s class president, valedictorian, salutatorian, commencement speakers, and principal, and view photos of their classmates during the full-length virtual programs. MPS is proud to announce our team of commencement speakers: Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, NFL star and philanthropist J. J. Watt, Milwaukee Health Commissioner Dr. Jeanette Kowalik, and NBA star Kevon Looney.

Graduations will be released on the MPS YouTube page according to the schedule that follows. Virtual graduation ceremonies will be available for download as a keepsake for seniors and their families. Along with their diplomas, graduates will receive, by mail, a complete printed program that recognizes every graduate.

We invite the entire Milwaukee community to help celebrate our graduates! Hang signs, get creative, or post on social media and tag with #MPSClass2020, #MPSProud, or #MPSGrads. Graduates can email us photos at comm@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.

Congratulations, graduates! We wish you a bright and successful future!
