MPS celebrates 2024 summer graduation

Milwaukee Public Schools has honored more than 100 students who completed graduation requirements over the summer and earned the right to wear a cap and gown. A summer graduation ceremony recognizing their accomplishments was held July 27, 2024, at Alexander Hamilton High School.

MPS 2024 Summer GraduationAs part of ongoing efforts to help students graduate, MPS again offered multiple sessions of Summer Academy. Students could earn a total of two credits by enrolling in both sessions. Intensive outreach to students attracted those who could directly benefit from accelerated or recovery options.

At the graduation ceremony, students wore their school colors and accepted their diplomas during the large district-wide event that was attended by family and friends.

MPS is proud to present these students with diplomas and send them on their personal journeys ready for college and career.
