B93.3 LogoCongratulations to Alexander Hamilton High School teacher Tiffany Hagey who was selected as B93.3 FM’s Teacher of the Month for April.

Hagey’s enthusiasm to help students succeed and active involvement at Hamilton were among the reasons she was chosen for the award. She now is in the running with six other greater Milwaukee area educators for the radio station’s teacher of the year award, which will be announced in May.

Hagey teaches freshman English at Hamilton and is an advisor to the student council, which organizes many events including homecoming, the annual Pink Outs at home basketball games and MS Walks.

Loribeth Chenault, a teacher at Hamilton who nominated Hagey for the award wrote, “she is a tireless worker who enriches students lives and hosts the most amazing pep rallies.”

Teacher of the month honorees receive tickets to a Milwaukee Admirals game and will be acknowledged at the game as the radio station’s Teacher of the Month and as hometown hero by the Admirals; an engraved plaque and other prizes from Stein’s Garden & Home and The Vein Guys of Wisconsin. B93.3 FM has presented the award for several years.
