Find money for college during National Scholarship Month

Scholarship imageHigh school seniors -- it's time to apply for scholarships! National Scholarship Month is designed to encourage students to seek scholarships to help pay for college or career training and is sponsored by the National Scholarship Providers Association. Start searching, develop a plan, and apply now.

Many scholarships can be found by searching online, and the MPS Scholarships web page is continuously updated with new offerings. Thousands of scholarships are available for academic interests, school clubs or activities, athletics, volunteer work, hobbies, writing an essay, and more!

Start a notebook or folder with all your scholarship information. Make notes about scholarship deadlines and start gathering needed documents such as transcripts and letters of recommendation. School counselors and College & Career Center advisors are available to help.

For required short answers and essays, write your responses on a laptop or tablet rather than trying to type into online application boxes. You’ll have an easier time editing and you can save your work for future applications.

For more helpful tips, download a Scholarship Tips flyer!

Please wait while we gather your results.
