Families — Read about your rights and responsibilities for the new school year

All MPS families are encouraged to read the Parent/Student Handbook on Rights, Responsibilities and Discipline as the 2024–25 school year gets underway. This annual publication details many MPS programs, student and family rights, and the MPS Code of Conduct. Important information for athletes is also included.

MPS Rights & ResponsibilitiesIn mid-August, letters were mailed to MPS families to make them aware of this important information. The book is available on the MPS website and all school websites. Rights and Responsibilities can be accessed online any time in Arabic, Burmese, English, Farsi, Hmong, Karen, Pashto, Rohingya, Somali, and Spanish.

This book is the best source of information for families to be informed about behavior and discipline, attendance, student records, transportation, winter weather, and family supports. Read more about this handbook at mpsmke.com/rights.
