All MPS families are encouraged to read the Parent/Student Handbook on Rights, Responsibilities and Discipline before the start of school. This annual publication details many MPS programs, student and family rights, and the MPS Code of Conduct. Important information for athletes is also included.
Copies of the book were mailed to MPS families in early August. Printed copies in English are available at all MPS schools. Copies in Spanish are available at MPS schools with a bilingual program. The book can be accessed online any time in Arabic, Burmese, English, Hmong, Rohingya, Somali and Spanish.
This book is the best source of information for families to be informed about behavior and discipline, attendance, student records, transportation, winter weather, and family supports. Read more about this handbook at mpsmke.com/rights.
