Attend the MPS High School Enrollment Fair on Oct. 11, 2025

Pick your program and apply to your high school! MPS has multiple programs across the district in career areas such as arts, automotive, college prep, technology, engineering, health care, music, skilled trades, manufacturing, culinary arts, and more. Students in grade 8 should explore schools now and make their choices for this important transition.

MPS High School EnrollmentTo assist families and students in selecting a school, MPS will host a High School Enrollment Fair on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The fair will be held at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, 2300 W. Highland Ave., Milwaukee, 53233.

To find a high school that best fits your needs, visit How to Select a School on the district website and select by location or program. To find open house events at high schools, find a listing on the High School Enrollment page. Enrolling now offers your best opportunity for a chance at your first-choice school—some schools fill up quickly!

For enrollment, visit the How to Apply for High School Admissions page. All students will apply through an online form. Families new to MPS will need to provide the student’s 7th grade report card, 7th grade attendance record, and standardized test scores. Students will also be required to submit an essay in response to a reading selection. Current MPS 8th-graders will complete this requirement in school this fall.

For more information, please call the Department of Student Services at (414) 475-8159.
