Attend the 53206 Community Showcase on April 24, 2024

Families and neighbors are invited to attend the Milwaukee Public Schools 53206 Community Showcase on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Explore Milwaukee Public Schools programs and learn about jobs in the district. Meet your neighbors and local businesses! Childcare and activities will be available for school-age children. Every attendee will receive a free hot dog, chips, and a drink while supplies last.

Families can meet staff from MPS schools in the 53206 ZIP code and learn about MPS offerings:

  • Head Start and early childhood programs
  • Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs
  • College and career preparation
  • After-school and recreation programs
  • School services including counseling, psychologists, social workers, and more

In addition, attendees will:

  • Discover employment options in MPS
  • Tour the GE Innovation Lab inside Douglas Middle School
  • Find neighborhood partners and services in 53206
