Attend and apply! MPS is holding a job fair on Wednesday, September 18

MPS employees are welcoming at the job fair check-in.Make a difference in the lives of Milwaukee students by taking a job with Milwaukee Public Schools. MPS is holding a job fair on Wednesday, September 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

The job fair will be at MPS Central Services, 5225 W. Vliet St.

Applicants can find competitive pay, great employee benefits, and ways to advance in their careers. Some positions have summers off.  

Full- and part-time positions are available. All full-time employees receive benefits that include health insurance, paid sick time, and a pension. 

People interested in working for MPS can apply for positions available across the district. Some interviews and testing will be conducted during the job fair.

  • Teacher 

  • Paraprofessional  

  • Substitute Teacher 

  • Food Services Manager 

  • Carpenter 

  • Building Services Helper 

  • Auto Mechanic 

  • Steamfitter 

  • Painter 

  • Electrician 

  • Finance 

  • Children’s Health Assistant 

Children’s health assistants, or CHAs, provide support to students with disabilities, including personal care and help with school-related activities.
