Occupational therapy positions are itinerant, therapists travel to multiple assigned school sites for the provision of occupational therapy services.

An Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates student performance in areas such as fine motor, self-help, sensory processing, daily living and vocational skills.  The OT documents evaluation results, establishes functional goals and develops intervention plans.  In collaboration with others, the OT implements occupational therapy services in accordance with each student's Individual Educational Plan or 504 Plan.  The OT provides training to classroom staff members as needed and engages in ongoing assessment of student progress.

Interested applicants should complete all sections of the application including the online submission of a current resume and three (3) letters of recommendation dated within the last year and signed by the author. Non-MPS employees should attach transcripts conferring their undergraduate and, if applicable, graduate degrees.
