Washington School of Information Technology is a comprehensive high school focused on providing students with 21st Century Technology skills on their road to graduation. In addition to the traditional high school diploma, Washington offers students pathways to graduation through GED02 and Competency based programming.  Washington is a hub of the community and offers extensive afterschool programming in interscholastic athletics, academics, recreation activities and a Twilight Center.

The ideal candidate will have a firm knowledge of instructional leadership and culturally relevant practices. Assistant Principal candidates must be experienced in working with high school age students and should be willing to build strong relationships with our students, families, staff, and community partners.

BASIC FUNCTION:  Assists the Principal in the overall management of the school. When designated, acts as Principal during periods of the Principal’s absence.  Assists principal with evaluations, discipline and overall management of the building.  Assumes responsibility for activities delegated by the Principal, which can include athletics, safety, special education, governance council, PBIS, learning teams, professional development, enrollment and programming, among others.

Salary Range: $72,324-104,278
