Bay View High School utilizes a STEAM which is (science, technology, engineering, art and math) philosophy and rigorous coursework to equip students with 21st century skills to be active participants within a shared community.
We also have programs like Project Lead the Way and Engineering .This program allows students to earn credits transferable to the Milwaukee School of Engineering. NAF (National Academy Foundation) which includes STEAM is our culinary arts program. This program isn’t just for those that love cooking, however. It is also a great opportunity for students to learn valuable life skills and to expand their knowledge of different cuisines and cultures! There is also are music program in which students may join band, choir and or take private music lessons aside the music program.
Bay View offers many opportunities for advanced coursework! We regularly offer advance placement (AP) classes in English, History, Science, and Studio Art.
Bay View offers honors classes for English, Math and Science for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. WHAT DOES AN HONORS CLASS OFFER? -Rigorous, in-depth content material. WHY SHOULD I TAKE AN HONORS CLASS? It helps to build students’ confidence in their academic abilities. It helps to prepare students for AP classes and it helps to prepare students for educational opportunities after high school.

Early Start Calendar

The first day of school for students attending schools on the Early Start Calendar is August 17. Please make sure your student is at school the first day and every day. If your child will not be in school on August 17, please tell the school now. Failure to notify the school that your child will not be present on August 17 may result in your child losing his or her assignment in our school.
