Herb Kohl Educational Foundation announces academic awards and scholarships
Awards for excellence in teaching and student scholarships for 2022 have been announced by the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation. Eleven MPS students received scholarships and three teachers were recognized for exceptional work in education.

MPS celebrates students’ plans after high school
Throughout the first two weeks of May, MPS high schools are honoring students’ plans for college, technical school, military service, certificates, and apprenticeships.
Peer-to-peer jazz education hosted in five schools
MPS is one of only three school districts nationwide selected for a jazz education program by the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz.
MPS provides high quality, nutritious meals to support students’ academic achievement. Menus are subject to change based on food item availability. Altered menus will continue to exceed federal regulations for nutrition standards to ensure students are provided balanced meals at school.
