Twilight Centers

Twilight center family activitiesMPS Twilight Centers offer programming and extended hours at selected schools so young people (ages 12-18) in the city have a safe place to go. Twilight Centers opened October 31, 2016 and are open Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6-9  p.m.

Saturday hours are 6-10 p.m. and will focus on family-friendly activities. Youth ages 11 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Activities include:

  • Game rooms
  • Open gym
  • Roller skating
  • Movie nights
  • Youth enrichment activities

Locations

  • North Division High School, 1011 W. Center Street (enter door #8 near tennis courts)
  • South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Boulevard (enter east doors off of faculty parking lot)
  • Washington High School, 2525 N. Sherman Boulevard (enter southeast doors on Sherman Blvd.)
  • Barack Obama School of Career & Technical Education, 5075 N. Sherman Blvd.
  • James Madison Academic Campus, 8135 W. Florist Ave.
  • Bay View High School, 2751 S. Lenox St.
