MATC Promise

The MPS College and Career Centers are here to help students with the MATC Promise program application process. To get started and learn more please visit MATC Promise. Students must complete both the MATC application and the MATC Promise application. Below are the links to both applications. If you are interested and need help, please visit your nearest MPS CACC!

What is the MATC Promise?

In September 2015, Milwaukee Area Technical College introduced the MATC Promise, which provides free college education for area high school graduates who meet program eligibility requirements. The MATC Promise will help area high school students realize their dream of attending college and preparing for a career . . . at no cost  to the student!

On April 25, 2016, MATC President Dr. Vicki J. Martin announced that members of the Class of 2017 and Class of 2018 can apply for the MATC Promise.

“The response to the MATC Promise from prospective students and their parents/guardians, our K-12 education partners, business leaders, elected officials, community members, and donors has been incredibly positive,” said Martin. “Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have the necessary funds to support another cohort of Promise students.”
