Admissions is the process of applying and gaining admittance to a college or university. Each school has its own process to apply, so go to the school's website or contact the school's Admissions Office to find out what the specific requirements are. 


Here are a few resources and links with tips for applying to college and what to do after you have been accepted:

Basic requirements to be admitted:
Four-Year College or University
  • Grade point average (GPA) that meets or exceeds university's minimum GPA
  • ACT or SAT score
  • High school diploma
Technical/Community College
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Placement test (Accuplacer)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Accuplacer or similar test
  • May need a driver’s license
  • High school diploma
  • Good physical shape
  • Be at least 17

Please see below for special hours during the 2018-19 school year:

Week of October 15:

All CACCs with Friday hours will be closed on October 19 due to No Student Attendance.

CACC Bradley Tech: Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
CACC Marshall: Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
CACC Reagan: Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
CACC WCLL: Tuesday, closed; Thursday, closed.
