The College and Career Center is pleased to offer one-on-one assistance to students at the Saturday Academy. Students can work with an CACC Advisor on various college and career steps including career assessment, college search process, college applications, college essays,  FAFSA completion, scholarship search and scholarship application completion.

Advanced Placement & International Baccalaureate Students

In an effort to maximize opportunity for academic success for students enrolled in AP and IB classes in Milwaukee Public Schools, students will have the opportunity to participate in enrichment and review sessions throughout the school year on Saturdays. These sessions will be facilitated by highly qualified AP and IB district teachers at Wisconsin Conservatory of Lifelong Learning. Students from all our AP/IB high schools will be invited and encouraged to attend.

Edgenuity/Credit Recovery Students

The Edgenuity program uses an online curriculum that aligns to MPS expectations regarding curriculum and rigor. The Edgenuity program provides individually paced lessons for which students can “test out” by demonstrating mastery. Students can work on Edgenuity coursework with support of highly skilled instructors during Breakfast Club.

Camp Create & Design

Camp Create & Design will include interdisciplinary lessons involving STEAM-related activities where science meets art, allowing students to enter into “the studio” to work on projects that require putting on both creative and analytical hats to solve problems. They will have the opportunity to look at a problem from many angles, test out different ideas, and ultimately decide on a solution.
