Youth Risk Behavior Survey
The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) asks students about health behaviors of students in grades 6 through 12. The survey has specific questions related to nutrition, physical activity, tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use.
While the survey asks sensitive questions, all precautions have been taken to ensure the anonymity of students as student names or ID numbers will not be asked on the survey. Students may skip any question that they are not comfortable answering.
Results from the survey are used by MPS to plan risk reduction efforts and for the Project AWARE grants. The district-level reports for both middle schools and high schools are available below.
