The BMO Harris Bradley Center floor will once again belong to Milwaukee Public Schools’ student athletes as teams from seven MPS schools participate in The City Review. This is the fifth year for the event, which brings some of the area’s best players under one roof on one night.
“The City Review has become a hallmark event as our boys’ basketball teams kick off their conference season,” said MPS Athletics Commissioner William Molbeck. “MPS continues to increase athletic opportunities for students and this is a great way to highlight the hard work and success of our student athletes.”
Two girls’ basketball teams will also compete on January 11. The Rufus King International High School Lady Generals are undefeated and ranked second in Wisconsin’s Division 1 state girls’ basketball rankings. The Lady Generals will take on the undefeated and sixth-ranked Vincent High School girls at 4:30 p.m.
The Washington boys’ team is ranked third in the state in Division 2 and takes on the Vincent High School Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on January 11.
