Help grow our Mitten Tree!

Mitten Tree LogoLast year, 4,031 warm winter items including mittens, gloves, caps and scarves were collected and distributed to MPS students. Our Mitten Tree needs donations again! Despite the late arrival of cold weather this year, our students need items to keep them warm on their walks to school and bus stops. All sizes are needed for young children through adults now through January 19.

It’s easy to donate! Consider hosting a mitten drive at your workplace or simply purchase some new winter items. Drop them off at MPS Central Services Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., or drop off at ten TCF Bank locations. View the list of participating bank branches and read more about this program on the MPS Mitten Tree web page.
