Mitten Tree Drive

Mitten Tree info

Since the 2006-07 school year, MPS Central Services staff and the community have donated thousands of scarves, pairs of mittens, hats and gloves for MPS students. Too many children are coming to school in the cold with bare heads and hands.

Donations are sent to MPS schools, the Head Start program, the Homeless Education Program and CATP students.

For the second year TCF Bank’s 16 branches in the Milwaukee area are public collection sites in addition to the drop off site at MPS Central Services,

Residents can donate new handmade or store-bought hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, long underwear, thermals, fleeces and warm leggings at any of the following locations listed below, Nov. 28, 2016 to Jan. 6, 2017.
