The cows came home

vincent cows daisy and violet

broken fenceViolet and Daisy just arrived at Vincent Agricultural High School as the newest animals students will study as part of the school’s urban agriculture program

Apparently, the girls wanted to check out their new neighborhood.

The cows, which weigh about 600 pounds each, powered their way through a fence and traveled about two miles - including across Good Hope Road - until they were located in the backyard of a family whose daughter just happens to attend Vincent.

Thanks to Vincent student, staff, neighbors, MPD, Wisconsin DNR, and Wenke Trucking, the wayward heifers are back at Vincent. This time in the barn...which has steel doors.
