School starts Tuesday, September 5

Smiling studentsBe in school on Day One! All MPS schools will be open on Tuesday, September 5 to kick off the new school year. MPS high schools, middle schools, and some elementary schools have been in session since August 14. Those schools follow the Early Start Calendar that is designed to help students achieve. A complete list of schools following the Early Start Calendar can be found at http://mpsmke.com/earlystart.

Most elementary schools are on the traditional calendar and start on Tuesday. Parents are asked to ensure that all students are in school on the first day and every day. Click to view a copy of the 2017-18 Traditional Calendar.
